Next meeting Saturday 9th May 2015 at 12 noon

We will hold this meeting on Saturday 9th May at 12 noon
Venue: MalcamTrust rooms,  45 Maori Road Belleknowes, next to Jubilee Park

We start with  a shared lunch, and tasting honeys – please bring along a sample of honey you have from your hives.

Then chat about topics such as:
Hives set up for winter yet ? Any issues ?
Varroa treatment in winter i.e. Oxalic acid
Tasks to carry out in winter – woodwork, frames, etc.
Another practical session on these tasks, maybe in June ?
Planning for spring (just round the corner …)

We need to decide if this is the last meeting this season, or another in early June ?
The first meeting next season in August, would start with very short AGM then get on
with beekeeping spring stuff.

Please contact me if you need any further information 027 2085133.
